Either that or a dirt track. That's what I did when I lived there.

Good point. W e heard about this one going on and decided to check it out. I don’t care if its dirt or asphalt, if its racin’ , Im excited.
I also saw a sign on the way to base today for swamp buggy racing. I must investigate.

I’ve never been to an oval track race. I’ve heard the people you find there can be interesting. I should go at some point.

Well the race is about to start, the announcer was trying to get the crowd pumped by asking who was ready for some racin’, and I’m certain I heard gunshots from the parking lot. It’s certainly an experience.

When I was stationed in Orlando I went to a tractor pull. It’s what you do. That is the night that I learned that boiled peanuts are disgusting.

Go to Bristol. It's insane. Over 40 cars screaming around a bowl the size of a football stadium. Bring earplugs or you WILL go deaf.

Now the lights are out in Turn 1. Can't race if you can't see where you're goin.

That is the night that I learned that boiled peanuts are disgusting.
I’m astonished this wasn’t self-evident.

When you room with a Georgia boy you hear all kinds of things, one of those was how boiled peanuts were so good. Then you see all of those Florida Men chowing down on some and you start thinking that maybe it’s just possible that you're the one that's wrong. Nope.

Maybe it's an acquired taste, I happen to like them. First time I had them was at a minor league game when I was stationed in Charleston. We also used to go to the 1/8th mile drags down there a lot.
